All eligible candidates are requested to be present at BUP Academic Building Room no-308 (2nd Floor) for Viva-Voce/Interview at the date and time shown against each. Candidates are requested to bring following documents along with them: (a) SSC & HSC/Equivalent Marksheet (b) Ward Certificate (children of freedom fighter, military personnel, tribal and sitting members of BUP governing bodies (c) HSC/equivalent registration card/statement of entry (A-level) (d) Copies of attested passport size coloured photographs (Name and Roll Number written at the back).

Documents to be Carried in The Exam Hall

  1. Printed Admit Card
  2. Attested Photocopy of SSC & HSC Certificates For Verification Purpose
  3. Bank Money Deposit Slip (Original) Must be Deposited

Viva Required Documents. Applicants must bring following documents written examination hall:
a. 3 copies of attested passport size recent colored photographs (Name Number written at the back).
b. HSC/ Equivalent Registration Card in original and also attested that.
c. Original ward certificate (Children of Freedom Fighter, Tribal, Military Personnel).
d. Other attested documents:
(1) SSC/Equivalent Marks sheet
(2) HSC/Equivalent Marks sheet
(3) Copy of original bank or postal money deposit receipt.

Syllabus for written test

Admission Required .
Students who passed H.S.C or Equivalent or A level examination in 2014 will be eligible to apply if he/she fulfills the following conditions:
a. SSC and HSC Examination / Equivalent. Minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and 3.25 in HSC and combined GPA 7.00 (adding GPA of both SSC and HSC examination / Equivalent of GPA 7.0 (seven) ).
b. GCE O/A Level Examination. Minimum average grade point of GPA 2.5 in GCE O-Level and 2.0 in GCE A-Level. Letter grades of O-Level and A-Level subjects are converted to grade points as A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1. Average grade point is calculated by averaging the grade points of 5 best grades for O-Level (including Mathematics) and the 3 best grades for A-Level.

Waiver for SAT. Candidates may be exempted from Written Admission Test if he/she obtains a predefined score (which is mentioned below in details) in SAT. Exemption decisions will be made by admission committee on a case-by-case basis and exempted applicants will be assessed for admission on the basis of SAT score, viva-voice score and candidates past examination results. Here, the score obtained in SAT will be converted into 50% of total weight age, the marks obtained in viva-voice will be converted to 25% of total weight-age and remaining 25% of total weight-age will be calculated from results of past examinations. However, details are as follows:

Applicant obtained a score of 1500 or more in SAT (with at least 500 in both Critical Reading and Mathematics and at least 450 in written part) may be exempted from the written test. However, students waived from written admission test will be required to appear at scheduled viva-voice.

Application Process
Step:1-
Depositing Application Processing Fee: Deposit (Cash) Taka 500 (Five Hundred Only) For BBA Candidates at any Trust bank Branch to “Admission, FBS, BUP” A/C Number, 0028-0310045820. Mention The Trace Number and Deposition date in Web Application Form. (Please  ask  the  person  at  bank  counter  to post/transfer the money immediately and get your trace number). You May Transfer the Application Processing fee to the above mentioned account through Mobile if you have Trust bank Mobile Account or From any Mobile Pay point of Trust Bank Available Through the Country (Addresses of Pay Points are there in Trust Bank Website.).

Step 2: Submit your application through internet as follows:    BUP Admission Form

From BUP website (www.bup.edu.bd) click on “ BUP Admission Form
Go to CURRENT OPENING, Choose your desired program then Click on Read More & Apply Online, then click on Apply Online. Fill in the required information then click on Next Step.  Get account activation link in given email address (don’t forget to check your Spam box) and click on that. Get login User ID and Password in a confirmation reply in given email address. Log on with that user id and password and fill in all fields and click on Submit button. If you want to submit later, use Save button for temporary save. You can edit continuously until the verification is completed. If you use Save button, before Submission, first click on Edit information button.

Check the following information periodically by logging in to your account:
a)  Verification Status.
b)  Print Admit Card (You need to carry this printed admit card during admission test).
c)  Admission Date, Time and Seat Plan.
d)  Result – as per merit position.
